Replay the Series: Brother Rice vs Bloom
Multiple sources have confirmed the REPLAY basketball game between Brother Rice and Bloom Township will be played Sept. 10. The time and location of the game, a rematch between the schools' 2000 supersectional squads staged by Gatorade and Fox Sports, have yet to be confirmed. The third edition of the documentary series, which airs locally on Comcast SportsNet Chicago, will reunite the combatants in the March 14, 2000, Class AA East Aurora Supersectional. The Blazing Trojans beat favored Brother Rice 42-40 on a last-second tip-in by Joe Chapman.
To prepare for the big rematch, players from both teams are participating in a customized, eight-week training and nutrition program. A documentary about the REPLAY journey produced by Fox Sports Net will also air nationwide in the fall.
It's been speculated the REMATCH game will take place at St. Xavier University. Tickets go on sale at Bloom and Brother Rice, Wednesday August 25 at 9:00am.

ECLECTIC STYLE
Eclecticism is a kind of mixed style in the fine arts: "the borrowing of a variety of styles from different sources and combining them" (Hume 1998). Significantly, Eclecticism hardly ever constituted a specific style in art: it is characterized by the fact that it was not a particular style. In general, the term describes the combination in a single work of a variety of influences — mainly of elements from different historical styles in architecture, painting, and the graphic and decorative arts.

Glen Coffee: A Higher Calling
Many people get so wrapped up in the money and fame of being a professional athlete. Glen Coffee was not one of those people, in fact the 25 year old running back retired from the SanFranciso 49ERS to pursue a higher calling. Acts like this are rare and should definitely be applauded because it takes great strength to make it to NFL and even more strength to leave it all behind for a different purpose!
